Privacy

The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. It has no database. The only personal information it handles is what you choose to type into the enquiry form, and that is sent to us as an email.

What we collect

If you use the enquiry form, we receive what you put in it: your name, your email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, your suburb, the type and approximate size of the job, your timeframe, and whatever you tell us about the project.

Name, email and a description of the job are the only required fields. Everything else is optional, and leaving it blank does not stop you contacting us.

Why we collect it

To answer you, and to work out whether we are the right business for your project and what it would cost. That is the whole purpose. We do not use it for anything else and we do not send marketing.

Where it goes

The form sends an email to our own address. The email is delivered by Resend, an email service provider, which handles it in transit as any mail provider does. Your message then sits in our email like any other enquiry.

This website stores nothing. There is no account, no database, and no record of your enquiry on the site itself.

Who else sees it

Nobody, with two exceptions. If pricing your job needs a quote from a supplier or another trade, we may pass on the parts they need — the room, the measurements, the material — and no more. And we will disclose information where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information, and we never will.

The website's own logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like every web host, its servers keep short-lived technical logs of requests, which can include IP addresses. We do not read them to identify visitors and we do not connect them to enquiries.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry stays in our email. Quotes and job records are kept as long as we need them for the work, our tax and business records, and any question that could come up about a job afterwards. If you would rather we deleted your enquiry, ask and we will.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email us and we will sort it out.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes

If this website ever starts doing something different — analytics, a booking system, anything that handles your information another way — this page is updated at the same time, not afterwards.
