You send photos and a rough size; we tell you honestly whether we are the right fit before anyone drives anywhere. If we are, we come and look at the actual substrate — because that is where the real cost lives and no photo shows it.

You get a fixed quote, summarised rather than itemised line by line — but explained properly, so you can see what the preparation and the waterproofing actually involve. That is usually where our number differs most from a cheaper one, and it is the part worth understanding before you compare quotes.

You get the dates, including the cure days where nothing appears to happen. Waterproofing sits between the plumber and the joiner and cannot be compressed, so it goes on the programme rather than being discovered on site.

Substrate, falls and membrane are photographed before they disappear under tile. Ask, and the photos are yours. If you ever sell the house, or ever have a problem, that record is the difference between a claim and an argument.

Silicone, trims and a clean room. We will walk it with you, tell you how to look after what you have chosen, and fix anything you point at on the spot. Where other trades come in after us, we will tell you what is still to happen so the finish you see at handover is the one you expect.
